Head of the Office of the University Council participated in a workshop on upgrading "Regulations, Rules, Ordinances, and Announcements" to Ensure Accuracy and Efficiency Standards
On February 9, 2026, the Division of Human Resources and Organization hosted a practical workshop titled “Drafting Regulations, Rules, Ordinances, and Announcements of Walailak University.” The event took place at Phatthradhammaphorn Room, 9th Floor, Building B, Walailak University Hospital, aimed at enhancing understanding and maximizing efficiency in drafting the university’s legal documents.
The workshop featured Mr. Banjongwit Yingyong, Head of the Office of the University Council, as the keynote speaker. He presented on “The Review Process and Procedures of the Drafting Subcommittee for University Regulations, Rules, Ordinances, and Announcements.” The session focused on essential screening mechanisms to ensure that the issuance of various regulatory documents remains orderly and adheres to three core standards:
Orderliness : To create documents with uniform formats and standards.
Accuracy : To ensure strict compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Speed : To reduce revision stages at the committee level for faster approval.
Regarding the key operational procedures, responsible departments must first prepare draft documents in Word format, along with supporting evidence, via the WU DOMS system and submit them to the Office of the University Council. The screening subcommittee will then provide a detailed review and recommendations within 3 working days. Once the initiating department adjusts the drafts according to the feedback, the documents proceed to relevant committees—such as the Academic Council or the Personnel Management Committee—before final approval and signing by the President or the University Council.
This training was not only about developing operational skills but also served as a key driver in fostering a “Culture of Quality and Transparency” within the organization. Accurate and clear regulations form a strong foundation, enabling Walailak University to advance its mission steadily. The collaboration from all departments will be a vital force in elevating the university’s administrative standards toward sustainable excellence.
